Maria Guida

Maria Guida is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate team, based in Guildford, with 32 years of experience in commercial property and licensing law. She specialises in landlord and tenant matters, real estate litigation, commercial conveyancing, and land and property issues. Maria trained at prestigious law firms such as Baker and McKenzie and Field Fisher in Central London, which provided her with a solid foundation for handling complex real estate work.

With a particular focus on licensed property, Maria manages a wide range of real estate matters, including leases for retail units, industrial units, offices, studios, and galleries. Her extensive experience allows her to offer tailored, expert advice for her clients across various sectors.

Maria does not accept legal aid cases and is open to having no-obligation discussions about clients’ legal requirements. Her qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, followed by legal studies at the College of Law in London, where she completed the Law Society Common Professional Examination and Law Society Final Examination. She qualified as a solicitor at Field Fisher Waterhouse and was admitted to the Roll in October 1993.
