I am a solicitor of England and Wales, as well as a qualified advocate with Bucharest Bar. I am currently practising as a lawyer specialising in all areas of nationality and Immigration law, with particular emphasis on business immigration. I have helped numerous businesses setting up in the UK from overseas, as well as UK based companies with their needs in respect of workforce mobility.

Moving to the UK from my home jurisdiction, I worked for over 3 years with a leading specialist immigration City of London Firm, where I combined my corporate law background with my knowledge and skills in immigration law, to offer clients composite services in business immigration. Having a strong litigation background, I have also been sought out by clients seeking to challenge Home Office decisions by way of appeals and Judicial Reviews.

I advise overseas clients in respect of relocating their businesses to the UK, via the Tier 1 (Investor) Innovator and Start-up or Sole Representative of an Overseas Business visa categories. Legal knowledge and expertise are indispensable in the strategic planning required for the businesses to succeed in a new environment.

I also routinely advise UK based start-ups and businesses on Sponsorship licence and Tier 2 visa matters. I advise in respect of all business immigration issues for both employers and employees including Sponsor Licence applications, the sponsor’s duties and obligations and general employment compliance issues for businesses.

I am fluent in Romanian, Russian and Armenian and have substantial knowledge of these countries’ business and legal environments. I have advised high net worth individuals from China, Russia and other CIS Countries, Israel and other Middle East countries.

I regularly speak at seminars and training sessions aimed at the general public, employers and immigration specialists.
