I have been a solicitor for over 40 years and have wide experience of the law and its operation. The rule of law is a framework for Civil Society in which enterprises contribute to the well being and wealth of its citizens.

I started The Brooke Consultancy LLP 11 years ago as a niche commercial new type of Law Firm that caters to the needs of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Social Enterprises by working in collaboration with other professionals to provide Business Advice in the Round for Founders/Social Entrepreneurs.

I have a wide range of experience in corporate and commercial law dealing with startups, scale ups, fitness for investment, pitch decks leading to access to finance. My knowledge encompasses articles of association containing special provisions, privileges and protections, non-resident trusts, mergers and acquisitions, shareholders’ agreements and commercial contracts of all types, licences and franchises.

I take an active interest in Social Enterprises as a principal driver for investors and the economy, and have advised on establishing sustainable structures that combine Social Benefit and Return on Investment.

I have been a long-serving trustee on various Charities: Westminster Mencap; Kith and Kids; Disability Law Service.
