Vandana Dass

Vandana is an award-winning Solicitor. She was announced the winner in the “Rising Star in Law” category at the London Asian Business Awards 2018, Entrepreneur of the Year at the British Indian Awards 2019 and she was a finalist in the Women in Law category at the Asian Legal Awards 2019.

Vandana advises employees and employers on a range of HR, Employment law and Business Immigration matters from implementing employment contracts and policies, advising on Sponsorship licences and managing them, advising on Tier 1 and Tier 2 visas to representation at the Employment Tribunal.

Davenport Solicitors was born out of the passion of helping businesses succeed and empowering them so they can confidently deal with internal HR matters.

Vandana wanted to eradicate the worries of HR/Employment law for her clients so they could concentrate on growing their business. Moreover, she wanted to provide businesses, who were looking for HR/Employment law support with a first-class service from expert lawyers, with the flexibility of choosing from a range of services which suits them and not worrying about the “traditional” hourly rate charges.

Vandana regularly presents seminars on what really concerns businesses and HR professionals. She has also been an Employment Law Lecturer at South Bank University and the Open University.

Vandana is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, the European Employment Lawyers Association, Committee member of the Asian Business Association and the Chair of the School Stakeholder Committee at Krishna Avanti Primary School.
