Sandra Machin

Sandra has specialised in family law since she qualified in 1984 and now has over 30 years’ experience in this complex area of law.

In addition to being a qualified solicitor, she is also trained as a family mediator and can help clients work towards a less combative approach to divorce.

Sandra has been involved with Andover Crisis and Support Centre for a number of years. She is so passionate about the valuable work this local charity provides that she sits on the management committee and is a Director of the company.

The charity offers support and deals with all aspects of domestic violence, offering counselling services, safeguarding children and re-housing when required.

Her work at the Firm offers many challenges on which she thrives and allows her to help vulnerable women and children who need support.

Sandra worked in her early years started as a legal secretary for another law firm and was asked her advice on a particular legal issue. When she gave her opinion, she was told she was wrong and that if she thought she knew better than a qualified solicitor, she had better qualify herself. She has not looked back since.

When she is not in the office she can be found reading a book or spending time with her family and friends. She also loves the local Hampshire countryside.
