Nick Owen is a seasoned solicitor based in Cardiff with over 34 years of experience in litigation, dispute resolution, and intellectual property law. He does not accept legal aid.

Nick has built a distinguished career in civil litigation, covering judicial review, professional negligence, corporate insolvency, and business disputes. He also has extensive experience in intellectual property law, handling matters related to patents, copyright, trademarks, and IP litigation. His expertise extends to commercial litigation, corporate law, and consumer rights disputes.

For the past decade, Nick has focused primarily on clinical negligence claims, representing claimants in complex and high-value cases. He has a strong background in medical malpractice, product liability, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

Earlier in his career, Nick worked in family law and criminal defence, including serving as a prosecution solicitor for a local authority. His vast experience across multiple legal disciplines allows him to offer strategic, well-rounded advice tailored to his clients’ needs.

Nick qualified as a solicitor in 1991 after completing his LLB (Hons) and has since established a reputation for his meticulous approach, strong advocacy, and commitment to securing the best possible outcomes for his clients.
